This website was launched back in 2024. It had a narrow focus, but a broad appeal. It centered around the music scene from the late 80s and early 90s. It was meant for nostalgic reasons with people in mind that I partied with back then. Fontana was a great place to live in 1989 when I graduated high school. I lived on Oleander Avenue, which is on the back side of Fontana High School. Our football team was a powerhouse, and it was a chill time to be alive. My best friend lived on Oleander Avenue, and so did my girlfriend. It wasn’t such a bad place to be, and after high school, we took classes together at a local community college. We partied, and we partied a lot! One of my friends had a party house across town on Ivy Avenue. The Oleander and Ivy parties were massive, and they happened non-stop for a few years. Back then, house parties weren’t illegal! It’s strange to think about how times have changed. Block parties are a thing of the past.
It’s time to update this website, though. There’s a lot more music to think about. Maniac Nebula is our main site, and it centers around “conspiracies, extra-terrestrials, and good times”. There’s ongoing projects over there. In January, we focused on a Truth or Myth trivia game. In February, we had a “word of the day” every day from an encyclopedia we created. In March, we will have a “band of the day”, and the pages will be housed right here…
